The Logical Indian 106-Yr-Old Environmentalist Receives Padma Shri Award

On March 16, Saalumarada Thimmakka, 106-year-old environmentalist from Karnataka was awarded the fourth highest civilian award, Padma Shri by the President of India.

Her initiative to make the planet greener by planting more trees has helped her to become an awardee.
